ALS FALCON FLIGHT WINS CHAPTER TEAM SPIRIT AWARD FEB. 11

Once again, the Airman Leadership School's Falcon Flight has won the Team Spirit Award, sponsored by the Frank Luke Chapter AFA.

The current 13 flight members received their award on Feb. 11, 2010, when 54 students in Class 10-3 graduated.

Each of the winning flight members received a Team Spirit coin and a complimentary AFA membership, and the flight's name was inscribed on a plaque, recognizing 24 winners since the award was first presented to Phantom Flight on Sept. 25, 2007.

The award is presented to members of the flight which works best as a team. Selection criteria includes: winners of the Amazing Race, winners of the Drill Down, least number of uniform discrepancies and least number of disciplinary discrepancies.

Members of Falcon Flight include Flight Leader Senior Airman James Stocklos and Senior Airmen Diann Cunningham, Elmo Deherrera, Peter Flores, Justin Bogue, Jack Kerby, Samuel Lipscomb (who also won the Academic Award), Zachary Marshall, Siun Pak (also a Distinguished Graduate), Rodolfo Perez, Jared Purvis, Cary Ulmer and Jordon Youngblood.
